Planet Friendly credentials

At Good Health Studio I am always looking for ways to be more ecofriendly but these are all the things that are happening right now.

Gift Boxes - are made from sustainably sourced material & some from recycled materials too; completely plastic free. They are recyclable, compostable & biodegradable.

Gift Box Filler - is made from 100% recycled material from a supplier that holds FSC certificates. It is 100% recyclable, compostable & biodegradable.

Gift Message Card - is made from FSC certified paper card which is uncoated & recyclable, compostable & biodegradable.

Postal envelopes & boxes - are made using 30% recycled material & are recyclable. When possible I reuse boxes & filling material which has been used by my suppliers to send me stock; this can be recycled or reused again.

Containers - all balms are hand poured into aluminium tins with aluminium lids. They are lightweight which means they take less energy to transport, & are 100% recyclable or can be re-purposed.

Ingredients - the balms are always made using only natural & organic plant derived oils & beeswax. Absolutely nothing is artificial / synthetic & is never tested on animals. The only animal derived ingredient is beeswax; everything else is vegan.

Handmade - traditional methods are used to make all of the balms, which is always in small batches to optimise their quality. Because they are undiluted they take up less space; this means smaller containers which means less raw materials are required, less energy is used to produce them & less packaging & fuel is needed for transportation. They are all made & labelled in the Good Health Studio in Wiltshire.

Labels - are made completely from paper, using sugarcane, hemp & linen. They are biodegradable, including the adhesive, & the ink used is vegan.

Posting - I usually walk to the Post Office with orders, but they are collected by Royal Mail or driven to the Post Office, when the weather is really terrible or there are just too many to carry!
